Photos : Earth Freq 2011 (QLD)

February 11 – 14th 2011, held at the Landcruiser Mountain Park, Jimna, South East Queensland.

This was my first Earth Freq Festival. Though i have been invited many times before, usually after Rainbow Serpent Festival in Victoria, i am just too tired to travel to Queensland. But this year i didnt attend Rainbow (9 years in a row is enough, and it was getting just too big for my liking) – so Earth Freq was on top of the list, and also my first festival for 2011.As i dont usually not that great with words (writing) i will however say that Earth Freq gave me back joy and faith that the ‘doofs’ as i remembered has not died. I think my promise to stick to smaller festivals is a good idea, and i caught up with old friends and made many new ones – having long conversations in the shade, which there was plenty off scattered throughout the festivals. Maybe its my aging body, but i found i was sleeping very early but waking up early in the morning and it was lovely to see the mist/fog surrounding the gorgeous landscape of the Landcruiser National Park.

I took just under 500 photos – all day shots, and have started processing them last night – so check back often to see new photos – which i will do a little bit of daily, until its all done.
